ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8, episode 16 preview: First Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion ‘Heartbreaker’ details
After a week off of the air “Castle” is returning to ABC tonight with a new installment entitled “Fidelis Ad Mortem,” but before you get around to seeing that, why not take a quick look at something that is coming up down the road? With that, we’re here to present the first synopsis (via SpoilerTV) for next week’s “Heartbreaker,” an installment that could feature a number of good Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion scenes, while at the same time also giving us a little bit of Esposito to boot:
“A clue at the scene of the death of an armored-car driver leads Beckett and Castle back to an old case solved by Esposito. But complications arise when they learn that Esposito might not have been telling them everything about his past with the culprit.”
Is this an Esposito centric episode? It may be a little bit early to confirm that, but we can at least go ahead and tell you that you’re going to get a chance to see in here Angelina Celaya of “Constantine” fame for a guest spot. Who doesn’t love a little bit of “Constantine” back on TV, even if it is not the show itself?
There will probably be a little more revealed about this episode after it wraps up airing tonight, which is why we’ll be coming back in the near future with a little bit more in the way of scoop to share! We do hope that the final episodes of this season give us some stronger spotlights into some of the supporting cast, given that it’s been a little while since we’ve had that.

I feel last nights episode (15) was a good solid A, A+ if Hayley would not have been in it. This episode should have taken place in episode 4 of this season if only Hayley would of told Rick about him and LokSat. But know we had 11 more episodes of BS separation. Who knows where the ratings would be right now if the BS separation would have stopped by the end of episode 4. The show runners tell the show writes want they want to have happen, and Hawley dislike of Kate going back to season three came out loud and clear. We can only hope that Hawley has not done anything dumb in the last 7 episodes. I also feel ABC has hurt Castle big time this season, no Thanksgiving no Christmas a 77 days off from 11/23 to 2/8 with no real start back date, it was changed 4 times. Now they are treating Castle has a disposal show, only having shows every second week, why are the ratings going south DA. I hope ABC and the complete Castle cast can give us one more finale season (9), before we lose it.

This late in the season and possibly the final of the series, maybe AH and crew should be focusing on NF/SK (together) instead of everyone and anyone else. Hayley gets an episode, so does Espo, but apparently Caskett gets 7 minutes. Sounds fair. Also jives with dwindling ratings.
