‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5, episode 14 video: Rumpelstiltskin searches for an ‘aura’

On Sunday night’s new episode of “Once Upon a Time,” we are set to see the missions of many different characters collide in some very interesting ways, and we are here with what we believe is a fairly decently explanation as to how this all unfolds.

Before we do anything else, though, let us begin by discussing some of these said motivations for a minute. Emma Swan clearly wants to get Captain Hook out of his metaphorical prison, and as a result she is going to do almost everything she can in order to make that happen.

Meanwhile, Rumpelstiltskin claims that he wants to get back to Storybrooke and to his wife. Is it possible that he does have a little bit of a deeper motive beyond this for escaping the Underworld? Certainly it is, but good luck trying to get him to admit to anything else.

The main focus of this sneak peek is on Rumple telling Emma that if they want to make their goals into a reality, she needs to forget about her current plan to infiltrate Hades’ plan and retrieve Hook, since it will be completely useless since the lord of the Underworld already knows that she is there. Instead, she needs to go along with a plan of his to use the “aura” of someone who is already dead, and then seek out Hook in that way. Rumple claims that he already knows the right person for the job. Is it not other than his one-time wife Milah? Signs point to “possibly.”
