‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5, episode 14 video: Will Hook heed to Hades’ latest threat?

There is a new episode of “Once Upon a Time” coming up this weekend entitled “Devil’s Due,” and there are a few things that we can make note about it right now. What’s one of them? It really is so simple as this: Hades still means business!

In this preview, Hades continues to try to threaten our beloved Captain to turn over the names of the people he wants to mark on the graves, which is a part of a deal that was offered to him on this past episode. However, Hook relents, saying in true heroic fashion (remember when we thought he was a villain?) that he will not ruin the lives of people he loves.

If Hook fails to go through with this, the consequences will be severe … but for the time being, we are mostly waiting to see what exactly Hades’ true endgame here is. As much as we are compelled by his character, this is the problem with this current stretch of episodes. We’ve got a villain for certain, but he is one that we do not have a significant attachment to just yet because we don’t exactly know a whole lot about him.

Will that change before the end of the season? Probably, and before that time hopefully Hook’s circumstances will change and Emma and company will start to realize that their journey to visit the Underworld and rescue him is not in vain. We’ll have more on this episode soon.
