‘Chicago Fire’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ alum snags key role
While you would think on paper that “Chicago Fire” is a series mostly about heroes doing their part to save the day in the firehouse, there has been a decent amount of political content on the show over time. Even before the whole recently story about Casey trying to be alderman, this still found its way into the story more often than not.
Today, we are bringing to you the latest example of how this is factoring into the story. According to a new report coming in right now from Deadline, Lauren Stamile, best known to many for her work on “Grey’s Anatomy” as one-time Derek love interest Nurse Rose, will be appearing on the NBC show moving forward as a strong, savvy political consultant. As to who she is consulting with, that is one of the larger mysteries that is out there at the moment … though we’ll say that in general, we are rather excited to see what comes from this role.
We’re starting to get near the end of the road insofar as the hiatus for “Chicago Fire,” and there are many key stories still to come this season as relationships change, people fight for their future, and there are more than likely a few more crossovers. There is also potentially the arrival of a whole new world over on “Chicago Justice,” but all indications right now seem to suggest that this is going to be a part of the “Chicago PD” world in the near future more so than this one.
