ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: Stana Katic reveals Marin Hinkle casting
For anyone out there who was a big fan of “Two and a Half Men,” you’re going to get a chance to see Marin Hinkle come over to a very different world in that of “Castle.”
In a post on Twitter, Stana Katic revealed that Hinkle, who is best known for playing Alan Harper’s ex-wife Judith on the CBS sitcom, will be appearing in an upcoming episode. There’s no word just yet on what her role will be, but given where the show is in filming right now, she will probably be turning up at least somewhat close to the end of filming this season.
As of right now there are still many mysteries for “Castle” to solve as we get closer to the end of the road this season, with the biggest ones stemming from the reveal that Richard Castle is in fact connected to the LokSat case in a way that he was previously not. Hopefully he’ll share some of his information with Beckett soon, and from there the two can really push forward and put much of this case to bed. We hope that “Castle” plans on tying most of this up this season, especially since the show’s future for season 9 is unclear. (We’re still hoping out for at least a shortened final season, but time will tell.)
“Castle” is going to return with new episodes on Monday; as you may know, it was preempted last night for the finale of “The Bachelor.”

In the past I might have been excited, this season I would be satisfied for a defining conclusion . The magic died with 6.23 since then I follow because I’ve invested time, although the DVR let’s me catch up on my once favorite show. Must see tv is now Blindspot.

Well, Castle is currently shooting episode 20–only 2 left. The showrunners have to have a decent idea by now where Nathan and Stana stand regarding wishes to return. Also, new network pres. isn’t sending signals of undivided love for the show as did Paul Lee–while Castle was off this Monday and will return Monday the 21st, the episode scheduled for March 28th has been pushed to April 4th so ABC can try out “The Catch” in Castle’s slot following DWTS. They will also test Catch on Thursday, April 7 with a Shondaland lead in–not a good sign for Castle particularly if their Monday test shows stronger demo numbers than Castle. I hope Winter/Hawley have managed to cobble together some kind of series finale for 8:22 as I am not optimistic for a season 9.

The only thing I can find on the Catch is that the start up date is March 24. Tv Guide still has Castle on the 28th. But who knows they have screwed the scheduling up on Castle so bad this year, anything can happen. That is just one of the many ,many problems that is causing the low ratings. And they are just totally unaware, or is it just part of the plan?

it would be good to see Hinkle again. To be done with LokSat this year would be great. Abc cancelled/ renewed has moved Castle from as of yesterday, could go either way to safe bet. Now that is a good sign. But it will only work if Rick and Kate are together. After episode 14 we know it will not work without them both being there. I hope we all know before episode 21 that they will be both in.

I love (loved) Castle but if a season 9 is anything like season 8, it needs to end. I will be shocked if both leads return, making a S9 even more dreadful. Can you imagine what the minds of Alexi Hawley and TPW would come up with to put an end to Caskett? They’ve managed to all but ruin them while they had both leads signed on.
