‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ reunion: Cynthia Bailey, Sheree Whitfield talk filming

Tonight marks the finale for this season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” or at least the part of the story that takes place before the reunion show. This special was taped recently, and for the most part it is the part of the season where the vast majority of the contained craziness takes place. It may only film for a few hours, but it is an almost-endless barrage of insults and shade. We’re not entirely sure why the cast members like to be a part of this … other than the money and fame of course.

In the video below, you can see what we would describe as a pretty great setup for what the reunion show will be this year, at least in that you’ve got both Sheree Whitfield and Cynthia Bailey gearing up for it. There are admittedly a few fun parts to every reunion, whether it be the fan interaction or some of the silly montages.

In the end, let’s just say that Bravo knows that these events are a cash cow that they will milk down to the last drop. That’s one of the main reasons that they last for two or three hours, and sometimes contain everything from the husbands turning up to some “friends of the housewives” stopping by.
