‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5, episode 13 preview: Snow White, Hercules, and Cerberus

On the 100th episode of “Once Upon a Time” entitled “Souls of the Departed,” we had a rather tremendous opportunity to meet the show’s central villain for the next several episodes in Hades. He is the keeper of the Underworld, and for the most part we feel like it is fairly safe to presume that he is someone operating with a very particular agenda that he is happening to keep quiet about for the time being.

As for where we are going to be seeing the ABC series move forward into next week, the preview below definitely makes it seem as though we are going to be getting a battle for the ages, and one that could benefit from some other characters in Greek mythology. Specifically, Snow White is going to turn to Hercules in order to figure out if there is a way to stop Hades, but he will not be able to hand out a whole lot when it comes to great advice.

As for the opponent, it looks like we’re getting a cameo from none other than Cerberus, a certain three-headed canine companion of Hades’ who could have a third for blood / whatever other sort of agenda he has. As cool as the dogs can be, we almost hope at the same time that there is not too much of a focus on the creature for the time being. The show always tends to do better when the opponents are a little more on the human side.
