‘Elementary’ season 4, episode 16 preview: Show’s take on ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’

ElementaryAre you excited to see the road ahead on “Elementary“? You really should be, given that the next new episode on Thursday (the last before the show moves to Sundays) is going to have even more of a Sherlock Holmes flair than we have seen the show have before now. After all, the entirety of this installment is going to be based around “The Hound of the Baskervilles,” otherwise known as one of the most popular works from the late Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This will be a story full of all sorts of drama and intrigue, and the promo below promises that it will be different from any other take on the story you have seen in the past.

Want some other news now when it comes to what to expect in the hour? Then be sure to check out the attached synopsis:

“At the urging of Morland’s wealthy associate, Henry Baskerville (Tom Everett Scott), Holmes and Watson look into the death of his brother and discover that a witness saw the man chased to his death by a large, glowing animal too fantastic to be real. Sherlock considers intervening when the trauma from the bombing at the morgue negatively impacts ME Hawes’ work.”

By the time we make it to the end of this episode, let’s hope that this is some sort of outstanding tribute to all of the great work that the series has done, and also to Doyle’s work. There are only a few times that the show has went this direct with their interpretation of a Holmes story.
