‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5 spoilers: Do we have our first season 6 intel?

While “Once Upon a Time” has not been formally renewed just yet for a sixth season, we consider this to be for the most part a formality. The ratings are still fairly solid, and it feels almost like this could be a show that lasts for as long as the people behind the scenes enjoy making it. Let’s just hope that they stick with it for a little while longer.

According to TVLine, there are two characters to watch who could, in one way or another, be either a foundation for the sixth season or even a major part of it. They are two brothers, with the older one being somewhat notorious and corrupt, while the younger one is hoping to escape his sibling’s shadow and be his own person. These are two people who we imagine will have a complicated relationship, but the notice is too vague for us to really even start to speculate as to who they could be.

Before we get to a sixth season and whatever it could be about, there is still another order of business that we have to deal with: The Underworld. This is the primary setting for the second half of season 5, and in between good people and bad people, there are a lot of folks hanging around in here with unfinished business. More than likely, this will mark a very important, psychologically-challenging time for the show. We’ll have plenty of other opportunities to speculate on the brothers in due time.
