Is ‘Shameless’ season 6, episode 8 new tonight on Showtime? William H. Macy on crazy scenes

For everyone out there who loves “Shameless,” you’ve probably really enjoyed the embarrassment of riches that Showtime has offered you as of late. The network has opted to air the William H. Macy series on a weekly basis throughout the past two months, and even opted at one point to air it up against the Super Bowl, as crazy as that may sound.

However, they have apparently decided now that the Oscars are too much competition for their particular slice of viewers. There is no new episode coming on the network tonight, and they are instead opting to wait for another week to pick the story back up once more. We do anticipate that there are so big developments to come, but for the sake of the rest of this article, why not focus a little bit on the fun?

In a new interview with TV Guide talking about the series in general, Macy had the following to say in response to a question about what was one of the craziest things that he has done as of late on the show:

“This season started off with me on the grave having sex with my dead girlfriend’s grave … It’s been the constant thing of figuring out where is the reality in this? Is this funny? Can I make it funny?”

So far, the good news for the show is that they’ve been able to really think outside of the box, and make some of the weirdest things in the world worthy of a chuckle or two.
