‘Fuller House’ boss hopeful on season 2 prospects
We imagine that many “Fuller House” fans are at the moment a significant way through the show’s first season at the time they are through with this; heck, given that this is the weekend, maybe some out there have already finished completely. The show is relatively quick and breezy at thirteen episodes, and these episodes are obviously much shorter than the standard episode of Netflix content.
So are we now well on our way to getting a second season? As we’ve mentioned nothing is confirmed just yet, but speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, creator Jeff Franklin sounds both optimistic about the future of the show and also the prospects of getting many of the original cast members from the show (the ones who are not regulars here) back for more:
“I mean they’re all busy so we’re hoping to see each of them in a couple episodes. Some where we see all of them and some where we see them individually throughout each batch of 13 [episodes], if we get to do more seasons, which I fully expect we will.”
Obviously there are still some questions out there about the Olsen twins, and we feel like to a certain extent the cast and crew probably just want this to happen so that they stop having to answer so many questions about whether or not they will appear. Unfortunately, even if the show is renewed it may be a long time before we get some further news in one way or another. Specifically, think along the lines of the summer or the fall.
