ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8, episode 12 video: The lights turn out for Nathan Fillion’s Rick
We’ve got another new episode of “Castle” coming your way on Monday night, and this one will be at least a little bit different than any other we’ve seen so far. For one, it’s going to have a decidedly creepy element to it, especially since we’re seeing a story that seems to have some almost-“Saw”-like elements to it. Richard Castle could end up getting tripped, and it could be up to him, Beckett, and some others to solve the puzzles needed in order to get him out.
The sneak peek below is a rather brief one, but it does show that the episode is going to waste almost no time at all before starting to really showcase its creepy side. In it, you can see Nathan Fillion’s character walking down a hallway, before he starts to realize that the lights start to turn off for the most part all around him. It’s fair for him to question what is happening, and at first he think that it’s some sort of a trick.
From here, we imagine the rest of the story will unfold. Given how much Castle appears here to be in the dark, we are currently assuming that this is more of a jumping-off point than something that happens midway through the episode. If there are some other sneak peeks released soon that offer up a little more insight, you better believe that we’ll have them for you here! We do feel like the show has produced three very good episodes so far this season, so this is all about keeping momentum.
