‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ season 6, episode 11 review: Lisa Rinna presses for answers on Yolanda Foster

RHOBH

Can you believe that we’re almost eleven episodes into this season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and we’re still talking about some of this nonsense when it comes to accusations that Yolanda Foster faked her Lyme disease? There’s no actual evidence that she did, she’s denied it, and people around her including David (who is splitting up from her) have blasted the claims. It really doesn’t feel like there is anything to see here … and yet, here we are. It’s February 2016, and we’re still talking about this as though it is the most relevant thing in the history of things.

The only thing that was “learned” through all of the madness in this episode Tuesday night was something that we knew already: Erika Girardi a.k.a. Erika Jayne (we really prefer the later) is the person responsible for telling Yolanda what she had said. She denied it to her face, but owned up to it in confessionals. Really, there was nothing to see here, and unless you just love seeing a series of interrogations, this is mostly boring.

Speaking of boring, what in the world were Kathryn Edwards and Eileen Davidson doing this week other than talking about Marcus Allen? We feel like had this been “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills 1997,” most of this stuff would be interesting. At this point, we’d just rather watch “American Crime Story” to hear about the OJ Simpson trial than continue to hear Kathryn talk about it on the periphery.

The best part of the episode was probably Erika’s performance at the San Diego gay club, mostly because it was almost a hyperdrive version of almost every “Real Housewives” musical number that has been shown over the years. We had a skimpy costume for one, some ridiculous choreography, and also a lot of people parading around in an incredibly entertaining way. Erika is at least much better than some of the other women performers in the franchise, so we’ll at least give her that. Also, she’s loyal … not that Lisa Rinna loves that at the moment.

Unfortunately, not even all of the Erika Jayne performances in the world could have saved this episode from being a clunker. If only… Grade: C-.
