‘Blindspot’ episode 11 preview: New teaser puts Jaimie Alexander front and center
It’s been a good while since we’ve had anything substantial to report in regards to “Blindspot,” but there’s a good reason for that: It’s hard to promote a show that is many weeks out from being on the air.
Luckily, that’s changing soon! The Jaimie Alexander-led series is coming back on NBC starting on February 29, and the promo below does a good job mostly of reminding you of one thing: Jane Doe has a lot of tattoos; not only that, but she’s apparently fond of getting the return date and the name of the show on her body.
Granted, the effects in here are pretty terrible, and this is not the sort of promo that someone at the network put a lot of time or effort in. It’s still a creative concept given that you know tattoos are the show’s central gimmick, and everyone who is watching wants to see them play a role in almost every episode. It’s an easy way to remind casual viewers what the show is going to be about, since NBC really does not need to do much of anything in order to convince some of the more devoted fans to check the show out. They know that they’ll be there.
When “Blindspot” does return, Jane is going to have to get to the bottom of what she uncovered in the fall finale: She is the one who ultimately determined her fate, from her memory loss to many of the tattoos. the mystery remaining now is why, and what this could mean for her moving forward.
