‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12 spoilers: Tension looms with Callie, Alex, Maggie

The twelfth season of “Grey’s Anatomy” has so far contained many conflicts, but when it comes to Alex, most of them have revolved around himself, Jo, and Meredith. Specifically, Jo feels like Alex has put his longtime friend’s concerns at times before his own, and that has been rather complicated for his relationship.

Is this something, though, that we could see changing moving into the upcoming February 18 installment entitled “All I Want Is You”? It certainly seems like it, given the synopsis below that reveals that he is at the center of some issues with Callie and Maggie:

“As the hospital deals with Meredith’s trauma, Callie and Maggie perform a risky, experimental surgery on Alex’s 15-year-old patient against his professional opinion. Meanwhile, Owen and Nathan are still at odds with each other, and Maggie and Andrew’s relationship continues to develop.”

It is rather strange in some ways that we’re still writing extensively about this show and Justin Chambers’ character, but have no idea still whether or not Jo actually accepted his proposal. This was a cliffhanger during the winter finale, and while we’re hopeful that the two of them will make this move, it’s hardly confirmed at the same time. Even if the two do manage to get engaged, the other thing that you have to remember here is that the odds of said engagement sticking are not anywhere near 100%. Remember that this is “Grey’s Anatomy” that we’re dealing with, and their currency at times seems to be heartbreak.
