‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6, episode 14 video: Speculating over Ezra’s role
Did Ezra Fitz really kill Charlotte DiLaurentis on “Pretty Little Liars“? This is the question of the moment, and it certainly makes a great deal of sense why he would be the lead suspect. He’s shown a pattern of erratic behavior accented by alcohol abuse, and the notion of him getting drunk and using her to channel his anger is not too distant a possibility.
However, there’s one other thing here to remember: The odds of Ezra being guilty of such an act are highly unlikely. The show never makes their killer so obvious for such a long stretch of time, or at least they don’t if they are lacking necessary time to pinpoint other suspects. We saw this because CeCe Drake was at least suspected at one point to be Red Coat, but the show took a lot of time between that and the big “A” reveal that it was suddenly a surprise once more when it was revealed that she was the person behind almost everything.
So if Ezra didn’t do this, who did, and is there anything that Ian Harding’s character could do to deflect a little bit of suspicion coming in his direction? This is something that could take a little bit of time to figure out. We’re still many episodes away from the finale, so don’t expect answers to come trickling in right away.
As of now, the other important issue revolves around just trying to figure out who is responsible for some of the covert phone calls that are coming in the Liars’ direction.
