‘The Fall’ season 3: Jamie Dornan wraps filming, per Gillian Anderson
While it was not that long ago that “The Fall” season 3 picked up production, it does now seem that one of the leads is ready to move on now to other things.
In a post on Twitter, Gillian Anderson confirmed that her delightful co-star Jamie Dornan has wrapped up filming for the series presumably, and she of course had nothing but praise for him. We say “for the series” because it has already been confirmed that season 3 will be the show’s last, and apparently writer Allan Cubitt has decided to go out with a bang. It makes sense, given just how busy both of these actors are going to be moving forward.
Next up for Dornan seems to be filming “Fifty Shades Darker,” the next edition of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie franchise. Meanwhile, Anderson has been rather busy promoting “The X-Files,” and she has also recently done roles in “War & Peace” and “Hannibal.” We’re not sure that anyone in TV has a busier schedule and tries to do more things in a shorter period of time.
There is no firm premiere date yet for the third season of “The Fall,” but we imagine that it is going to be premiering at some point later this year in Britain. As for America, think a couple of months after that at least. The good news there is that all of the episodes will be available at once on Netflix. We’ll have further scoop on all of this as we start to hear more!
