‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 spoilers: What happens with Charlotte’s money?
There are many mysteries still remaining on “Pretty Little Liars” season 6, but as you may be starting to figure out right now, not all of them have to do with who killed Charlotte DiLaurentis. As a matter of fact, one in particular revolves around the question of all of the money that she made over the course of her life. This is something that was touched on at one point in the first half of the season, with her becoming immersed into stocks and then using this as a means to fund many of her schemes.
Now, all of that money will be going to Jason and Alison, per a tweet from creator Marlene King. It’s not entirely clear at the moment just what sort of impact we’re going to have a chance to see on the show as a result of this, but it would be interesting to learn a thing or two more regarding how these two decided to use these earnings. Maybe they try to put them to a good use helping others, or maybe they try to just improve the quality of their own lives. They’ve been through a lot, so either is justified in its own way.
As for whether or not either one of them is responsible for Charlotte’s death, we doubt it. You could say that Jason has at least some motive after the whole CeCe Drake “relationship,” but what makes the case of her death so interesting to us is the fact that so much time passed from the end of season 6A to the winter premiere. Who held on to so much anger for five years that they were interested in killing her the moment she was free? That’s what we are waiting to figure out.
