‘Celebrity Big Brother 17’ eviction: Was Nancy Dell’Olio, Angie Bowie, or Jeremy McConnell sent home?

This has been quite possibly one of the most volatile and controversial weeks in the history of “Celebrity Big Brother” leading up to an evction. The madness began when Angie Bowie was informed about the tragic death of her ex-husband David, but rather than leaving the show as a result, she chose to stay. From there, a crazy rumor began that David Gest rather than David Bowie had died in the house, and Jonathan Cheban ended up walking.

Also, there’s been a great deal of tension surrounding Tiffany “New York” Pollard, with Megan McKenna getting a formal warning from Big Brother for some of her behavior in the house. The fact that neither her nor any of the other pot-stirrers were in danger of being evicted really says quite a bit about what British viewers are looking for at the moment from this show.

As for who ended up getting sent home in the end on Friday, it was none other than Nancy Dell’Olio, who was barely even a celebrity to begin with and seemed to have very little of a support base. She was almost sent home last week, and now she can have peace and quiet.

What was interesting to us about this particular exit is that for one reason or another, producers really made us wait to the very last minute in order to learn that Angie and Jeremy McConnell were safe. Okay, maybe we’re not so surprised about the latter, but Angie got so many headlines that we assumed it would translate to her being granted safety in the early going.
