‘Fuller House’ video: New sequence features returning stars, premiere date
For all of those out there excited about “Fuller House” (and we certainly know that there are plenty of you out there), Netflix has released yet another new thing to get you excited about the show’s eventual premiere: A sequence featuring all of the cast members you’ve come to know and love!
In the video below, you can see all of the already-announced regulars (Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber), plus some returning folks who are expected to turn up from time to time, including Bob Saget and John Stamos. We don’t get the sense that you are going to see any of the men on the show every episode, but they’ll have some sort of role to play over time. This show is expected to mostly still adhere to the feel of the original, which is about the children just as much as it is the adults.
Also, Netflix has confirmed that the premiere date will be on Friday, February 26, which means that by the time you make it to the end of next month, you’ll get some old-fashioned comedy back in your lives. Even though this is a new and presumably-edgier home that ABC, we do not get the impression that the desire is to change the series too much from its original roots; instead, this is meant to provide the service with a family comedy, something that they have not quite had in this particular vein until now.
Hopefully, we’ll get some more clips in the near future featuring some real footage, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens in regards to that.
For now, does seeing this make you any more or less excited to dive into “Fuller House”?
