‘Shameless’ season 6, episode 2 preview: Lip’s ‘mission’; Frank and fire

The season 6 premiere of “Shameless” aired on Showtime Sunday night, and based on almost everything that we are seeing at the moment, it feels fairly safe to say that we are going to be in for quite the eventful season the rest of the way. Fiona seems to have settled in with a different relationship, Debbie is pregnant, and Frank is still going to struggle through the mourning process after losing the love of his life.

For those of you who want to know more about Debbie at the moment following her big reveal, we have the following small tease from Showtime: “Debbie carries a bag of flour around – determined to prove Fiona wrong.”

The promo below courtesy of Showtime is a little more revealing, not to mention funny. Just in case you ever needed a reminder that Frank is not his best self at the moment, we’ve got it for you in there. Then again, when is Frank really his best self? This is going to be fun…

Also, we should pose the question since it is asked in the promo: Is Helene really interested in getting Lip to commit murder? As crazy as that sounds, this is “Shameless,” and when you stop to think about it there is really not too much that actually is crazy with this show. It will always find ways to surprise you, and also at times horrify you to go along with it. We’re going to have some more news on this in the near future.
