‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: ‘Glee’ alum Matthew Morrison to recur
We have not seen too much of Matthew Morrison on TV ever since the end of “Glee,” but that is going to be changing in the near future.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the actor (who has been working as of late on Broadway’s “Finding Neverland”) is going to be appearing on “The Good Wife” season 7 as Connor Fox, an assistant U.S. Attorney who is responsible for jailing several former Illinois governors. It may be fair to say that he does not have the greatest relationship in the world with Alicia and Peter Florrick, especially if there are certain facets of corruption in his office that are brought to light. Anytime you have a U.S. Attorney coming on your show with a penchant for taking down governors, it can’t be good … especially when said governor is running for President of the United States.
For Morrison, we’re thrilled that he is getting this role given that the final seasons of “Glee” in our mind really did not do him justice. Because many of the young stars of the show ended up breaking out and becoming incredibly popular, the show evolved from something that was more about him (as it was during the pilot / early on in season 1) to being more about the kids and their journey. We know from the early seasons that he is an exceptional actor, and this is a great chance to show that off more.
After a long hiatus, “The Good Wife” is going to return with new episodes starting on Sunday, January 10. We’ll have some other coverage of the show very soon, so be sure to come back to the site for that! The link to keep track of more “Good Wife” news can be seen over here.
