‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9 spoilers: Who’s making a move?

Even though the next new episode of “The Big Bang Theory” is only mere days away, CBS chose to keep you waiting for a rather long time for the first synopsis! Thursday night’s new episode is entitled “The Sales Call Sublimation,” and while we knew that “Malcolm in the Middle” great Jane Kaczmarek was going to be appearing as a therapist, we didn’t really know what else was going on. Luckily, the synopsis below works to alleviate that:

“Penny gets more than she bargained for when Leonard agrees to meet with a psychiatrist (Jane Kaczmarek) on her behalf. Also, Sheldon and Koothrappali collaborate on an astronomical discovery, and Wolowitz and Bernadette can’t believe what they are feeling after Stuart moves out.”

The bad news that could come from Stuart moving out is mostly that we could see less of him, which is a little bit of a bummer because he like him as the sort of last horizon for the super-nerdy, lonely characters from the show’s first season. However, if there is a little bit of empty-nest syndrome or something similar going on with Howard and Bernadette, could this actually be a thing that considers them to bring in a new family member? We’re not necessarily talking about a kid here; maybe they just want to get a pet or start to rent out a room or something. The show has done a good job of not just playing into a notion that parenthood is the only thing that awaits the two of them now.

We cannot say too much just yet regarding Sheldon and Raj’s story, but we like that these two are working together, especially since Raj’s work life has probably been ignored more so than any other character’s.
