‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 13 preview: Into the heart of a blizzard

Monday night’s new episode of “Scorpion” is entitled “White Out” for a reason: There are going to be long stretches of time in which you see Team Scorpion stuck out in the snow. In order to save a Special Forces unit near the South Pole, we’re going to see Walter O’Brien, Toby, and the rest of the crew tackle brutal temperatures, heavy winds, and what may be very well blizzard conditions to go along with it.

In the brand-new sneak peek below, you can see some of the preparation for going out into the storm, which includes of course heavy coats, eating protein bars, and also making sure that everyone has a rope tied around them to ensure that nobody becomes separated. As for whether or not that works, that remains to be seen…

Since “Scorpion” would not be “Scorpion” without a funny moment or two, this preview also gives you a great Toby moment as he has quite the proposition for Happy at what may be one of the most inopportune times possible. Maybe they can figure out a better time for that later…

In the end, we imagine that this is going to be a classic “Scorpion” episode with a very wintry twist to it. For some of you watching in certain parts of North America, we imagine that you’ll feel Team Scorpion’s pain looking outside your living-room window. It’s that time of year! The irony here is that it is actually summer in Antarctica right now, though you probably wouldn’t know it if you were to ever go there.
