‘Fuller House’ theme song will be performed by Carly Rae Jepsen
Remember the old days when TV shows actually had iconic theme songs? Well, we’ve seen a slight resurgence of that in recent years, and that may because of the rise of nostalgia-based TV programming. “Girl Meets World” has a theme performed by one of its stars in Sabrina Carpenter, and now “Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepsen is going to be the performer behind the theme for Netflix’s upcoming “Fuller House.”
In a post on Twitter Jepsen confirmed the news, stating that she is more than excited to take on the song. It’s clearly a great bit of publicity for her to be able to take this on, and for the sake of the show, we’re also sure that they are rather happy to have a well-known performer involved.
“Fuller House” is going to premiere with all episodes starting on February 26, and we anticipate that there will be a lot of joy in many households as a result. The story is going to feature Stephanie and DJ Tanner raising the latter’s children with the help of Kimmy Gibbler, while many familiar faces from the past are also poised to return. It’s a way to get America to try and fall back in love with sitcoms again; other than “The Big Bang Theory,” there is not one out there right now that is getting just a whole lot of attention.
For now, our advice for you is to stay tuned, as we imagine that there will be further “Fuller House” news in the weeks ahead.
