‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 spoilers: Meet Hanna’s new fiance!

Hanna is going to have a new man in her life when “Pretty Little Liars” returns to ABC Family / Freeform in January, but to the surprise of many people out there, it is not going to be her former beau in Caleb.

According to TVLine, Australian actor David Coussins will be recurring throughout the second half of the season as Jordan, a man who she met while working overseas in the fashion industry. Jordan has his own ties to the business, and is described as being very “down-to-earth.” Who knows: Maybe he will be a relaxing presence for her when she deals with the stress of another threat akin to “A” coming and starting to take over Rosewood?

The challenge for many of these new love-interest characters is probably going to be handling the stress that comes along with the knowledge that most fans of the show are going to root still for the original couples, and the odds are probably high that you will be thrown to the wayside for someone who has been on the show for a while. Given that the show has already been renewed for a seventh season, it would be a shock to us if by the midway point of season 7 Hanna was not back with Caleb.

With this said, we do think it would be more realistic for at least one of the Liars to end up with someone they did not know during their time in high school. The idea of four friends all marrying someone they knew growing up is something that is reasonably hard to swallow.
