‘Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance’ finale video: An exhausting challenge returns

Cambodia -

Before we get to Wednesday night’s finale of “Survivor,” we figured we’d bring you at least one more sneak peek of something important to expect in this episode: A huge immunity challenge. Let’s just say that this is one of the most memorable ones in recent memory.

In the video below, challenge producer John Kirhoffer reintroduces us to a challenge made famous back in “Survivor: Redemption Island,” where Boston Rob Mariana was “carrying his family on his back” (one of the most exaggerated Jeff Probst quotes ever) on his way to winning. Placing steps and climbing steps are the name of the game, and this is really just a test of your overall stamina at this point in the season. Everyone is spent, and this requires the right combination of energy and strategy to pull off.

As for who we think is in the best position to win it, we’d say that Spencer is capable of winning this and almost any other immunity the rest of the way. We’re also not going to rule out Jeremy or Kelley Wentworth, since they’ve both shown at least some prowess here or there. Maybe Tasha stands a chance, as well, if she has recovered from what happened in the water last time.

In case you haven’t gotten the hint, we’re ruling out Kimmi as a contender here, and we’re not sure how Keith does given that this doesn’t involve balancing or throwing any sort of ball. That seems to be more of his wheelhouse.

In the end, we anticipate a ton of greatness coming our way from a review of the finale to the reunion show to even some more news in regards to the next season.
