‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Another potential speedster arrives…

FlashThe interesting thing about “The Flash” season 2 is that while we’ve heard quite a bit about people who could end up being speedsters someday, few of them actually are right now. We don’t quite know the status of Wally West in Central City just yet, but our guess is that, unless he is Zoom (which we actually think is a possibility, strange as it may seem for now), he is effectively powerless at the moment. The same goes for Harrison Wells’ daughter Jesse (known in the comics as Jesse Quick), given that she would just run away from Wells if given an opportunity.

So who is the next DC character with such powers to appear on the series? Think alongside the lines of Eliza Harmon. According to TVLine, the character (who does have the alter ego of Trajectory) will appear in an upcoming episode as a brilliant scientist who has a little bit of a “Jekyll and Hyde” sort of personality. Maybe she has some sort of thirst for power?

Anyway, we wonder if her role on the show could be some sort of test for Dr. Wells’ new speed experiments, given that she was a result of a Lex Luthor experiment in the comics and this could line up perfectly. We know that his role is to metaphorically “fatten up” Barry Allen to ensure that Zoom gets the power power from him possible when he finally ends up defeating him.

Hopefully, we’ll get some more news on this role over time. For now, know that “The Flash” returns on January 19.
