‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: ‘Iowa’ brings Peter’s campaign center stage

Good Wife -While there may not be a new episode of “The Good Wife” on Sunday night, the great news is that when the show returns on January 10 with all-new episodes, you’re going to get a chance to see one of the most important political events of the year: The Iowa Caucus! This will be a great chance to see what the show is planning to do as they start to move into the next chapter of the election cycle; not only that, but putting so many of these characters into a tight space could lead to some great entertainment and some high drama in its own right.

Earlier Tuesday, CBS released what is the official synopsis for this hour, and you can check that out below:

“Tensions run high as the entire Florrick family is crammed into Peter’s campaign bus with Eli and Ruth on their way to the Iowa Caucuses. Once there, Peter attempts a high-risk political stunt to gain votes for his presidential bid.”

Given everything that just happened between Alicia and Eli on the midseason finale, do you really think that this is the sort of place they would want to be?

We’ll just have to wait and see whether or not Peter’s campaign continues to find success, but for the time being, our current hope is that there are some cool developments with it. The longer that he continues to be a part of the campaign, the better off we’re going to be as viewers. After all, every show is milking the political angle for all it is worth.
