Is ‘Gotham’ season 2, episode 12 new tonight? Also, what familiar face is returning?
We begin this “Gotham” article with yet again, another sad reminder that there is no new episode of the series airing on Fox Monday night. It’s staying that way until February 29, so you have to be prepared for quite a few more weeks like this moving forward.
Rather than just dwell for this entire article on this one subject, though, we come to bring you further news! What familiar face is returning in the new year? Think along the lines of Ivy! As Clare Foley revealed on Instagram, she is back at work doing something on the show. She has been a recurring presence on the series for some time, and last appeared during the “By Fire” episode earlier this fall. Per her IMDb, she is set to appear in the 15th episode of the season. This will make it her second appearance of the season so far.
As with any other recurring character on the show right now, the primary challenge is finding the space and the time to be included. You’ve got a lot of touchstones at the moment, including some regulars who have not even been that much in the picture just yet. (Specifically, we’re looking at Harvey Dent and Lucius Fox.)
We hope that there are some interesting things in store for Ivy later this season, just as we are equally hopeful that the same can be said for the entire ensemble. We’ll have some further news as it is reported!
