‘Gotham’ season 2 spoilers: Melinda Clarke to guest star!

For everyone out there who loves “The OC,” the following bit of “Gotham” news has to be music to your ears: There’s a little bit of a reunion coming up for the show on Fox!

According to a new report coming in right now via E! News, Melinda Clarke is going to join her former co-star Ben McKenzie on the Fox series, where she will play the role of Grace Van Dahl, a woman who is described as being rather smart and cultured, but is also not afraid to make big moves in order to get what she wants. She’s extremely dangerous, and could end up becoming yet another person who McKenzie’s Jim Gordon has to keep his eye on.

The report notes that we will see Clarke for the first time beginning with the show’s upcoming 15th episode, and there will be a little bit of fun that comes with watching how she becomes a part of this world. She’s far from the only confirmed newcomer hitting the city in the new year; Victor Fries a.k.a. Mr. Freeze is also set to be a new addition, and should further help the show transition from the Theo Galavan era this fall into something completely different but still dangerous. Given that this is Gotham, we cannot imagine the city remaining peaceful for a particularly long period of time.
