‘The X Factor’ UK final: Ben Haenow, Little Mix, Fleur East, more perform!

The latest news -While there are a good many performers being saved for the big “X Factor” final on Sunday, there were several opportunities for some notable people to hit the stage Saturday. Specifically, many of the people who hit the stage have at least some sort of prior connection to the show.

Ben Haenow and Leona Lewis – The two can really sing without question, but there was just something missing from this performance as a whole. There wasn’t much in the way of chemistry, and we prefer our guest performers (at least unless you are Adele) to do something a little more energetic.

Fleur East and Little Mix – Really fun. What we love about Little Mix is that they seem to be so welcoming to anyone who works with them, and Fleur was generous in giving them parts on “Sax” while she fit in well with the group during their performance of “Black Magic.” This is the sort of thing we love to see on a final show.

Rod Stewart – A music icon no doubt, but at this point in time we don’t find all of his performances to be particularly compelling. We figure that the solo performance came as a result of convincing him to come on the show and perform with Che.

In the end, this is all we had from the celebrities tonight — tomorrow, the show will be bringing us the likes of Coldplay, Adele, and many others as the winner is eventually crowned. Of course, we will also get the annual final performance from One Direction.
