‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 10 preview: Alicia and Eli fight over Jason

The winter finale of “The Good Wife” is going to air on CBS Sunday night, and there are many different questions that come into the fray. For Eli, the biggest question is whether or not he can get Ruth off his back, and also whether or not he can figure out if he can get Jason Crouse out of the picture.

Suffice it to say, Alicia is not happy with Eli over some of what he has done, and the latest sneak peek below from Sunday night’s new episode is proof-positive of that and then some. You’re going to get a chance to see Alicia tear into Alan Cumming’s character over the fact that Jason is now getting offered another opportunity, and she’s not going to be able to find an investigator at anywhere near the same price that he was going to get him. Her personal life, she argues, should be separate … but she also makes it clear to him that she is not sleeping with Jason, but it wouldn’t matter if she was.

In the end, we figure that we’re going to get some more information on Jason’s future by the end of this episode … and hopefully that will mean Jeffrey Dean Morgan sticking around. We do think that he is going to have an extensive future on the series still, even with the specter of “The Walking Dead” and Negan over the horizon.
