NBC’s ‘The Voice’ finale: Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Coldplay, more to perform
The season finale of “The Voice” is set to air on NBC in just under a week’s time, and the roster of famous people performing at the event has turned out to be a rather impressive one.
As of right now, the group of performances scheduled to appear including Justin Bieber (singing “Sorry”), The Weeknd (doing a medley of hits), Coldplay (performing “Adventure of a Lifetime”), Missy Elliott (performing “WTF”), and Sam Hunt (singing “Break Up in a Small Town”). The show is clearly doing its job to represent as many different genres as humanly possible here, which is great given that half of the finale itself performance-wise is country and that could prove to be a little tiring. (It’s crazy, but at one point it looked almost like we were going to get all of Team Blake and then Jordan Smith in there.)
There are often some duets that happen in the last round of the finale, but there’s no word just yet about who will be involved there or what songs will be performed. Those are details that will probably be hammered out on Monday. The show tends to reveal most of its spoilers through iTunes, which is a little bit of a necessarily even for them given that this is how they sell tracks to in part determine the winner.
Be sure to come back over the weekend, as we’re going to be ranking all of the remaining contenders!
