‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 12 (winter finale) preview: Hard times at Christmas

Next week, “Scorpion” will be signing off for the year with an episode that is certainly cheeky. We don’t know how else to explain something that is called “Dam Breakthrough.” It’s basically an excuse for the show to try and swear as much as they want to without ever really angering anyone, and doesn’t that sound like a lot of fun to anyone else?

Before we do anything else, our suggestion is to take a look at the synopsis below for some other details:

“On Christmas Eve, Team Scorpion must prevent a catastrophe when torrential rains create a large crack in a dam, threatening to wipe out an entire town in its wake.”

In the end, what excites us the most about this episode is the potential for there to be some big action pieces (the show has become rather known for those over the years), but to also have some softer, sweeter moments at the same time. Back in the first season it was harder for the show to settle in and embrace the holiday spirit, since at that time it was created episodes more in a vacuum, unsure of when they were going to get to air. They now have a chance to plan ahead better, and give you stories that are appropriate for the time period, and get you even more excited for events and occasions you’d be looking forward to in the first place.
