‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 7 spoilers: Ian Somerhalder’s Damon to take center stage

Do you find yourselves to be a rather enormous fan of Damon Salvatore? If so, then you are probably going to enjoy Thursday night’s new episode of “The Vampire Diaries” very much.

During the flash-forward at the end of this past episode, we learned that Damon was being haunted still by the last things he said to his mother Lily before his death. As if that wasn’t bad enough for him, he is also going to be in perhaps the worst situation of his long life so far. We’re not sure how much of this we’re going to see, but it is nonetheless still important.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the winter finale is going to be a huge showcase for Ian Somerhalder. He’s in almost every scene, and there is going to be a lot of jumping around in regards to time. You will be heading back to see what life was like for him during the Civil War, and then also what he is going to be doing in the present following the big Lily shocker. Don’t you think that Julian is going to have a few things to say about that, given that the original plan all along here was to kill him given the presumed link between the two of them? Unfortunately, they did not realize that the metaphorical seal had been broken.

We imagine to get a lot of information past and present about Damon through this story, but at the same time, we have to be aware that there is plenty more to come. Whatever happens here will probably bleed over well to the second half of the season.
