‘Major Crimes’ season 4, episode 16 preview: Diamonds and thieves
Would it be too much for “Major Crimes” to actually air a promo someday after an episode that focuses on some character stories? We’re starting to wonder if it is, given that we have not seen it happen in a rather long time.
The latest example came tonight with next week’s all-new episode “Thick As Thieves,” which appears for the most part to be a story all about diamonds, identity theft, and danger looming around every corner for the team. The synopsis below, if you haven’t seen it already, offers up a few more welcome details:
“With Flynn on desk duty as he recovers from injuries, Sharon and the team investigate the murder of a fugitive diamond thief whose body was found by his bail bondsmen. Rusty is put in a tight spot when his relationship with Slider is discovered by Marianna’s brother.”
Tonight we saw some welcome progress for Andy, and we’re at least glad that he no longer appears like he is in grave condition. Sure, we don’t necessarily love the fact that he appears to be separated from the majority of the cases, either, but we have to take progress wherever we can at the moment.
As for Rusty, we just hope that he doesn’t eventually find himself in a pickle that he cannot navigate his way out of. We still root for the character, but it is pretty clear to us that there are many more problems that could await him the more that he forges a relationship with Slider.
