‘Fuller House’ will (officially) be sans Olsen twins in season 1
For those of you out there who may have been holding out hope for a last-minute appearance from the Olsen Twins on “Fuller House” this upcoming season, bad news: The appearance officially is not happening.
While this news was more or less reported ad nauseam over the past several months, Lori Loughlin confirmed it further to The Huffington Post by saying “I don’t think they’re going to make a cameo. They didn’t this season.” The idea here is mostly that if Mary-Kate and Ashley were not interested in being a part of “Fuller House” season 1, why would they then suddenly want to appear later? The issue here seems to mostly just be that they are not altogether interested in acting anymore, given that they have a highly-successful career in fashion and there’s really no need to do something different.
The majority of the other original cast members are going to be heading to Netflix for the revival, so be prepared to see everyone from Loughlin to Andrea Barber to Candace Cameron Bure to John Stamos to Bob Saget to Dave Coulier. Not all of them may appear in every episode, but the intention here is to maintain the feel of the original show while presenting something new for another generation of viewers.
“Fuller House” will premiere next year, and for now, the plan here is to provide as much coverage of it as possible. Stay tuned, and let’s hope for some laughs.
