NBC’s ‘The Voice’ iTunes results: Amy Vachal, Jordan Smith, Emily Ann Roberts score

The results are in once more for “The Voice’s” top 11 contestants on iTunes, and we’re seeing a little bit of an upset: People are starting to be really into the music of Amy Vachal!

After surprising us with her ranking for “Hotline Bling,” Adam Levine’s singer actually topped Jordan Smith with a #4 ranking, as opposed to a #8 for “Who You Are.” We’re not willing to say yet that this is a game-changer for the season or that Jordan’s status as a favorite is in jeopardy, but we do think there is some fatigue on the big, dramatic uber-ballad now that some of the remaining men are performing on the show.

As for some other notables as of this writing (which is around 1:00 p.m. Eastern time), “Why Not Me” from Emily Ann Roberts is hovering around #10 on the chart, while Madi Davis’ “Love is Blindness” is performing very well at #16. These two ladies are probably also save, which is great news for both Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams as they look to keep people in the competition.

As for who is in actual danger, look now further than either Korin Bukowski or Braiden Sunshine of Gwen Stefani’s team. Their performances ranked outside of the top 50, and given that Korin needed America’s help last week to stay safe, it’s easy to say that she could need it again.

As for Braiden, it’s a toss-up since he seems to have either teenager girls or older viewers voted for him because he’s a nice kid competing against big-shot contestants. Therefore, don’t be too shocked if he is safe and someone like Evan McKeel (currently at #43 with “Smile”) finds himself in jeopardy.
