‘Homeland’ season 5, episode 8 preview: Will Allison help Carrie out?
We will be the first to admit here that we have not always felt the utmost of sympathy for Carrie Mathison on “Homeland.” Does she want the good of the country? The majority of the time yes, but it is still fairly easy to say that her decision-making is at times clouded thanks to everything else that happens to be happening in her life. Sometimes, it is feelings for someone else, a family member, or trust issues that run deep.
Of course, there are also plenty of other times when we just feel like some are out to get her.
At this point in the show’s run, Carrie has tried seemingly to get out of the business of having people want to kill her. Yet, it’s still happening. She is still facing countless problems. We feel like she’s in an endless cycle, and while there are still some things that are her fault, not all of them are.
In the promo below, you can basically see her press Allison to see if there is anything at all that can be done to help her. Hopefully, we’re going to have an answer to this question within the span of the episode, given that we are about to get into what we consider to be the home stretch for the show: The final four installments.
Also, there’s one other thing that you should be aware of going into this episode: Quinn’s plans are going to change in a big way. Won’t this be dangerous for everyone?
