‘Homeland’ season 5, episode 7 preview: Is someone working hard to help Carrie?

This just in: The story on “Homeland” season 5 is about to become crazy. The promo below is the latest bit of proof of this very thing. It gives you some insight into how the mission is changing Carrie, and also whether or not Carrie’s actions are changing Saul.

The reality here is that Mandy Patinkin’s character may be one of the few people left who can actually start to turn things around to a certain extent for Claire Danes’ character, so you have to hope that as a result of that, he will be able to and the two will be able to join forces. Sometimes, taking on these issues is easier said than done.

The video below also teases a few specific action-packed moments; as for the synopsis below, it gives you a little more details (but it is not exactly going to rock your world, either):

“Carrie reconnects with old friends. Saul opens up to Allison.”

Aside from content, the biggest thing that we are looking forward to from this episode is some semblance of consistency. This is something that the show really has not given us completely this season. It started fairly strong, but we feel like before tonight it was starting to run into a patch where we wanted the show to move at a little bit of a faster pace.
