‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 6 preview: Why is Alicia concerned about Jason?
On Sunday night, “The Good Wife” is going to be back in action! It’s too bad that with that, we’re not going to see an entirely harmonious work environment for Alicia Florrick and Lucca Quinn.
The sneak peek video below does for the most part a great job of laying out the situation. Specifically, Julianna Margulies’ character feels good about what she and her aspiring partner-in-law are working on, with the one problem being the insurance. Jason Crouse is a freelancer, and maybe that won’t be too much of a problem for them … at least so long as they aren’t forced to deal with any issues relating to his history in New Jersey. He was a lawyer once, and let’s just say that he landed in a little bit of hot water over punching a judge.
Do we like the fact that Crouse did that? Of course not, at least from the standpoint that we never root for anyone to beat up another person. Yet, at the same time it’s hard to deny that it does add another layer of intrigue to the character! We have not quite seen anyone like Jason in the world of the show before, and we’ve certainly seen to date the sort of interest that he has in Alicia on a personal level. It’s something to look out for over the course of the rest of the season.
We will be back tomorrow with a full review of what transpires. Stay tuned!
