‘Supergirl’ spoilers: Meet Non!

“Supergirl” is finally starting to get close to its October 26 premiere on CBS, and as a result of that, we are here today to share some of the first details regarding one of the latest additions in Non.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Vance of “Transporter: The Series” is officially on board as the series’ version of the famed DC Comics villain. Early indications suggest that this will be an altered version from what we have been presented in the movies. He is someone with ties to both Krypton and the House of El, and should turn up for the first time in the eighth episode of the season.

Do we know for certain that Non is going to be the Big Bad for the first season? Not entirely, but early indications suggest that Vance will recur as the character, and he will be one of the biggest threats that Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) faces as she works to become more of a hero and more comfortable in her own skin.

By the time this episode airs, there will also be one other nice thing revealed that we’ve been waiting to hear more on: Whether or not this show ends up becoming a success. CBS has marketed it heavily, but that is no real indicator of viewers. This is a network that is in need of the next big hit, though, given that most of its most-successful series have been on for many years, and really are not bringing anything new to the table.
