‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 video: One last look at Andrew Lincoln, cast before premiere

For all of those out there excited about seeing “The Walking Dead” return to AMC (trust us, we’re right there with you), we’ve got the latest promo to enjoy right before the season premiere tonight!

In terms of major events, we would not say that there is a singular one here that actually stands out. With that being said, though, this video is a nice little combination of everything that we’ve seen teased so far.

First and foremost, we’re talking here about setting. The crew is sticking with Alexandria for at least the first portion of the season, and who knows? Maybe they will end up being around the town longer than that. There has been a tendency for the show to not stick around the same exact place for a long period of time, but maybe this is something that is going to change now that they’ve got a central hub.

To go along with this, you’ve got leadership conflict. Andre Lincoln’s Rick is clearly the guy who wants to be the man, but the issue here is that we’re still going to see resistance from the people of Alexandria. Specifically, Deanna may not be there fully yet, and the arrival of newly-pacifist Morgan may raise further questions about whether or not his way of doing things is right. Lennie James is going to be a part of season 6 for at least a while, and that has to be great news for those out there who have missed this character.
