‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6 video: See Shay Mitchell, Lucy Hale, cast in new opening sequence
Here’s a secret that you don’t have to keep: There is a new intro now available for “Pretty Little Liars.” This is something that was teased a rather long time ago, with the news coming out that the Liars would all get a chance to “shush” in the new version of the theme.
In the video below, the honor goes to Shay Mitchell’s Emily. However, E! News reports that every episode will feature someone getting the opportunity to do it after Aria (Lucy Hale) was the one who did it in every episode before now.
Aside from the logistics of the famous shush, there are some other important subjects that must be discussed in here, with the primary one being that there is another coffin! Who is in it this time? Given that it appears to be another blonde woman, is Charlotte a.k.a. CeCe Drake the likely victim? Or, is it possibly someone we don’t quite know just yet? It’s also possible that this is just a red herring, and an homage to the original theme that the show wanted to keep close to.
The other key difference is that Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) is clearly now alive, and gets to be front and center in the new group photo. She will be a teacher now in the second part of season 6, which takes place five years after the original onslaught from “A” and all of the aftermath of that. College will have come and gone, and everyone will be at new places in their lives.
