‘The Originals’ season 3 spoilers: Klaus, Elijah face mounting trouble

We have to say here that when it comes to episode titles for “The Originals,” we may have a winner in “I’ll See You in Hell or New Orleans.” Hilarious. This show has that subtle, biting humor that you really have to seek out and embrace, and this episode definitely seems like it has the potential to be all sorts of insane.

You’ll get a chance to see it on Thursday, October 22, and as the synopsis below gives away, there are going to be difficult times ahead for Hayley, and then also Elijah and Klaus getting a chance to start to realize how much danger they may be in:

“With tension running as high as ever, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) are forced to come together in order to uncover Lucien’s (guest star Andrew Lees) true motives in New Orleans. Cami (Leah Pipes) is caught off guard when she finds herself face to face with Lucien and is surprised when he reveals some unexpected information about his past with Klaus. Elsewhere, a mysterious figure presents an enticing offer to Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), while Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) turns to an unconventional way of coping with her current situation. Finally, an old acquaintance from Elijah’s past arrives in New Orleans and delivers some startling news involving the growing threat to the Mikaelson siblings.”

“The Originals” continues to be a layered, interesting show, and one of the credits to that has to go to the original premise. It is so much easier to create a winning show when you are starting from a place where you have centuries of character history that you can just dive back into at any given moment.
