‘The Originals’ season 3 spoilers: The latest on Cami and Klaus

Meet Cami -

In the past, The CW has liked to use Thursday nights as a sort of launching pad for their entire fall season, thanks mostly to one show and one show only: “The Vampire Diaries.” It used to be the anchor of the schedule; now it’s not, and with that, both it and “The Originals,” are not going to be on the air until next Thursday.

Is there anything that we can do in order to ease the pain of waiting? We’re going to try with a little bit of news on Klaus and Cami, who will be in a somewhat-different position than she was at this point a year ago. She’s starting to surround herself more and more with humans, but at the same time has this elephant in the room of knowing so much about vampires and the supernatural world. Can she get through to them, and offer them help in a way few others can?

For those of you who enjoy interactions between her and Joseph Morgan’s character, you should be rather pleased by the course of events at the start of the season. This is what Leah Pipes had to say about it to TVLine:

“She’s turned into the forensic psychologist for the New Orleans PD and is starting her practice as a therapist. Her first client is Klaus, which is basically purification by fire. If she can get through this, she’ll be the best therapist in the world. She could make Kanye West humble if she can get through to Klaus.”

One of the other nice elements of the Klaus / Cami relationship, at least to us, is that it does still have that true feeling of unpredictability about it. You do not quite know where it is going to land, and that is enticing.
