‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6: Are new cast photos coming?

“Pretty Little Liars” is a show about a variety of different things, whether it be solving mysteries or causing its fans to post in all-caps on Twitter to the point that they may break their phones.

For the second half of season 6, the show is going to be mostly about change, and this means both on a meta level and within the story itself. There is a new threat on the show that will have far-reaching consequences, and thanks to the five-year time jump, you’re also going to see all of the cast in a completely new place.

Now, let’s get to the behind-the-scenes details. The show is going to have a new opening title sequence for the first time since the beginning, which is great news given that Ali is not actually dead, and we don’t want to see these actors pretending to be teenagers anymore. At a certain point, that just starts to be living in the past.

MTV is reporting that the cast (or at least Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, and Sasha Pieterse) recently took part in a new photo shoot, and there is plenty of evidence of this very thing on social media. Since you’ve got these characters now as young adults, there’s a chance here to go glam and have a little more fun. In business terms, we think of this almost as a complete re-branding, and a chance to show these people in a new place and with different interests. It should be fun … and twisty … and crazy.
