‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 2 preview: The challenges of ‘Cuba Libre’

We’ve seen the members of Team Scorpion take on some rough adversaries before, but the events of Monday night’s new “Scorpion” episode may still feel somewhat new, even for them.

What’s the reason for that? To a certain extent, much of it comes down to the nature of the story. In the first sneak peek below, you can see Cabe plead with Homeland Security in an effort to take on a difficult case regarding a Serbian war criminal in Cuba. Basically, this is at the intersection of a lot of different things that are treated with caution, and it is pretty clear that if the team wants to tackle this, they are completely on their own. If they are caught, the United States will deny having any involvement and the team could even be left for dead.

What we are ultimately trying to say here is fairly simple: What we are about to see is dangerous. Very dangerous. Specifically, there is a good chance that this ends badly for almost everyone involved.

As for the other sneak peek that we’ve got right now, we’d say that for the most part, it is effective for an entirely different reason: Bringing some fun Walter – Paige interactions to the table. One of the reasons why Paige is a great addition to this team is that even without some of the same abilities as some of the other characters, she is extremely skilled when it comes to having the ability to call Walter out on some of his hypocrisy. That is precisely what she does here.
