‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2: Rebecca’s killer speaks out!

The second season of “How to Get Away with Murder” is only one episode deep, and yet the show managed to still get itself deep into a wide array of messy situations. First and foremost, there is that flash-forward where Annalise Keating was found near-death; also, there was the big reveal where it turned out that Bonnie was the woman who killed Rebecca. It was a huge move for the show, made even more interesting by the fact that Bonnie seemed completely stunned by how Annalise was not that proud t hear about it.

So how did Liza Well react to the news of getting to play this particular part? Speaking per TVLine over the weekend at a #TGIT event, she made it clear that she was happy to get the assignment, mostly because it made sense for her:

“I was relieved, actually, when I found out it was me … We had laid so much groundwork last season about this immense loyalty and the bond between Bonnie and Annalise. I was happy to have a hard event that backs that up now. It runs deep.”

Of course, one of the big stories moving forward is going to be all about how she handles this moving forward, and whether or not it is possible for her to keep what happened a secret. Everything has to be behind closed doors now, and with her loyalty to Annalise in mind, she has to also realize that thanks to everything she is going through with Sam, the last thing that she needs is more bad news about her out there.
